These are two pages from my sketchbook. I’ve been drawing while sitting in front of the television. I’ve been watching loads of TV to brush up on my German skills. Which is good for my German but maybe not too good for my creativity. My creativity doesn’t seem to respond too well to trading in my art studio for the television room…
I’m still on the look out for a little studio space here in Zürich. Unfortunately the last one didn’t work out. Too bad. It was such a sweet little space.
But hopefully something else will come up.

Sunday afternoon, I escaped to Uto Kino for a movie. When I’m in a movie theater, it often feels like my life has been put on “pause” and sometimes that’s exactly the right feeling to have.
The movie: A Thousand Years of Good Prayers
Food was a main feature in the movie. At times it even made me hungry to watch them eat.
A fabulous food blog that is new to me: Smitten Kitten
Alexandra had a wonderful post entitled, How to Apple Pie.
I was not only inspired but also hungry. So I went to the supermarket and came away with peaches instead of apples.
Here’s what happened:
1. Wash the peaches
2. Poach the peaches
3. Peel their skins away and slice
4. Eggs and sugar are always good
5. Cream and cognac are even better
6. Don’t forget to cheat and buy a pie crust at the market!
7. Put her in the oven
8. Eat on the balcony (as a naughty dinner for one)
I was on my way to a job interview yesterday…
And I stop to take photos of a shop window (Sprüngli).
Hmmmm….
